ThicKups offers delicious Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry ice cream flavors. All of our ice creams are IDDSI Level 3/Moderately Thick "Honey Thick" when fully melted. Every batch is individually flow tested for quality assurance via IDDSI testing methods. Made with quality ingredients, no artificial flavors, and no added preservatives.

We’re a team of medical speech-language pathologists who work daily with patients living with dysphagia. We’ve seen firsthand how swallowing difficulties can mean giving up some of life’s simplest pleasures, including something as special as a scoop of ice cream.
We knew there had to be a better way.

As medical speech-language pathologists, we created ThicKups with one goal in mind: to help people with dysphagia enjoy the simple pleasure of ice cream again.

All ThicKups ice cream products are developed to meet specific IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) Level 3/Moderately Thick "Honey Thick" consistency when fully melted. Always consult with a healthcare provider or speech-language pathologist before introducing new foods.

IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) is a globally recognized framework used by healthcare professionals to describe the texture and thickness of foods and drinks for people with swallowing difficulties, also known as dysphagia.

The IDDSI framework includes 8 levels, ranging from Level 0 (Thin) to Level 7 (Regular). Each level has specific characteristics and testing methods to help ensure foods and drinks are prepared to the appropriate consistency.
